An eyebrow wax in Spring Hill for $10 — while you're already in the chair. At US Nails on Forest Oaks Blvd, brows are $10, upper lip or chin $5, and a whole face $30. The price on our menu is the price you pay — no surprise upcharges.
We're a nail salon, not a brow bar, and we think that's the point. Most of our waxing clients aren't making a special trip — they're already here for a pedicure and they'd rather have their brows tidied in the same visit than book a second appointment somewhere else on another day. A brow wax takes about five minutes. Just say so when you sit down.
Our waxing menu & prices
Waxing pairs with anything on the menu — plenty of people add brows to a gel manicure or a spa pedicure and walk out with everything done in one sitting.
How long to let it grow first
This is the thing that most affects how good the result is. Wax needs something to grip, so give it about two to three weeks of growth before you come in. If you've been tweezing strays between visits, leave them alone for a couple of weeks first — going over a half-grown area means more passes and more redness for a worse shape.
After that, most people settle into a rhythm of every three to four weeks for brows and around four weeks for legs. Keeping to it makes each visit faster and more comfortable than letting things grow out for months.
What to expect, and what to do afterward
There's a quick sting as the strip comes away, and then it's done. Some redness for an hour or two is normal — more so on the face, and more so if it's your first time. For the rest of the day:
- Skip heavy makeup over a freshly waxed area — pores are open and it's easy to irritate them.
- Avoid hot showers, saunas, and pools for the day; heat and chlorine on fresh skin sting more than you'd expect.
- Stay out of direct sun — freshly waxed skin burns more easily. Worth knowing in Hernando County in July.
- Don't exfoliate for about 24 hours, then gentle exfoliating a few days later helps prevent ingrown hairs.
- Tell us if you use retinol or acids on your face, or are on a prescription that thins the skin — it changes whether waxing is a good idea that day, and we'd rather know before than after.
Waxing while you're here for your nails
The honest case for getting waxed at a nail salon is simple: it's the same trip. A $10 brow wax added to a pedicure you were already booking costs you five extra minutes and no extra drive. Grace has been doing this for over two decades and doesn't rush anyone — if you'd rather she took the shape slowly, say so, and she will.
If you want a dramatic reshape or something we don't offer, we'll tell you plainly and point you somewhere that does it. We'd rather be honest than take the money.
