Do it in the same visit
We are a nail salon, and most of our waxing clients are already here for something else. A leg wax before a pedicure, or brows during a manicure, means one trip instead of two. Just say so when you sit down.
Before you come in
Let the hair grow for about two to three weeks — wax needs something to grip, and too-short hair means more passes and more redness. If you use retinol or acids on your face, or take a prescription that thins the skin, tell us before we start; it changes whether waxing is a good idea that day.
Afterwards
- Some redness for an hour or two is normal.
- Skip hot showers, saunas, pools and direct sun for the rest of the day — freshly waxed skin burns and stings more easily.
- Do not exfoliate for about 24 hours. Gentle exfoliating a few days later helps prevent ingrown hairs.
Where we are
We are family-run and have been at 7233 Forest Oaks Blvd for 23 years, about five minutes from Timber Pines and ten from Glen Lakes in Weeki Wachee. Walk-ins are welcome Monday to Saturday, 10am to 6pm; for a set time call (352) 686-5330.
