The classic French, built in
Pink and white is the French manicure done as an enhancement: a natural pink base with a clean white tip. Because the white is part of the nail rather than a line of polish on top, it does not chip off at the edge — it stays crisp until the nail grows out.

Keeping the line sharp
As your nail grows, the base grows out and the white tip moves forward. A pink fill-in handles the base. Every so often you will want the pink and white fill-in too, which brings the white back to where it should be. Plenty of regulars alternate the two to keep the look without paying for the full refresh each visit.
Choosing a length and shape
A short, rounded or squoval pink and white is the most classic and the easiest to live with. Longer coffin or almond shapes look striking and need a little more care. If you are not sure, bring a photo — the length, the shape and how deep the white sits are the three things that make the look.

Frequently asked questions
How much are pink and white nails in Spring Hill?
A pink and white full set starts at $55 at US Nails. A pink and white fill-in is $45, and a pink fill-in is $30. Length, shape and any design move the total, and you hear the number before we start.
What are pink and white nails?
The classic French look done as an enhancement: a natural pink base with a crisp white tip. Because the white is part of the nail rather than painted on, it does not chip off the way a painted French tip can.
What is the difference between a pink fill-in and a pink and white fill-in?
As your nail grows, a gap appears at the base. A pink fill-in ($30) fills just that gap with pink. A pink and white fill-in ($45) also redoes the white tip so the smile line stays sharp as the nail grows out.
How often do pink and white nails need a fill?
Most people come back every two to three weeks. Alternating a pink fill-in with a full pink and white fill-in is a common way to keep the tips crisp without paying for the full refresh every time.
Can I get French tips without acrylic?
Yes — a French look can be painted with gel polish over a gel manicure or on top of Gel X. Ask when you come in and we will tell you which suits your nails.
